I'm running an Archer VR600 v1, Firmware Version:0.2.0 0.9.1 v0057.0 Build 160614 Rel.41735n.

I've tried using a Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, 2009, ext power source, ntfs, but this would put the router into a reboot loop. The only success I've had is using a Western Digital My Passport Essential 250GB USB Portable Hard Drive, 2008, ntfs, but this drive is not big enough for it's intended purpose.

I would like to know if there are any lists of compatible USB external hard drives that can be used for media sharing ?

We would love to help but would have to ask that you repost your question here: We have two seperate communities, one for the US and one for the rest of our regions. While for most products the only 3 factors for Harddrives are: Partion type, Partion Size, and USB type. However the reason why we would need you to ask this question on our Global Community is becase the VR600 was never sold in the US, so our agents do not have any knowledge of this product or if any compatiblities exist with it.
