Any news on when the new firmware update? I'm experiencing the same same issue with the current version.

I'd like to also add my name to the list of people seeing high CPU usage.  It seems to bounce between 5-10% and 95-99%.

I have the same issue with CPU usage often spiking to 98%. My internet gets slower too. I do hope the next formware update will fix this problem.

I want to reiterate, the CPU temp display as high is only a UI display issue.

If you are experiencing issues with your network, then it is not related to the display issue and something else inside the router which at that point contacting our support would be the next thing to do.

For me it is NOT just a UI issue.  While it may or may not affect network it does affect administrative procedures.  For example when logged into the router and doing a task such as renaming devices is too much for the router CPU to handle.  It loses the names entered and CPU usage percentage soars before it ends up freezing up.

It's also not just a UI issue for me too. I've been monitoring the CPU usage since I last posted and there is a direct correlation with the speed I'm getting on a wired connection.

I also tried not using the router for a bit and connect directly to my ISP's router and it works fine. The problem though is that my ISP's modem doesn't have the 5Ghz wifi range.

And (for some incredibly stupid reason) it only supports one ethernet connection (despite the four available slots) which means I can't use both the router and connect to it at the same time.

And 2.4Ghz in my neighborhood is pretty congested (probably because we all use the same ISP and the same ISP router) which is why I bought the A7.

I see a direct corelation to speed woth the CPU usage. Wired connection directly to the Comcast modem gives me a steady 450mbps doewnload but once connected via the Archer it drops to 250 mbps and lesser when the cpu soars in usage. Surely there is an issue with the firmware and the way the bandwidth is being allowed.

I'm gonna forward that multiple people are seeing a speed drop with the high CPU to HQ. I'll see what I can find.
