Deco P7 - Your experience?
Looking at options for our very spread out church building (looks like a squared off C - with the ends being the new and old sanctuary - connected by a long hallway that forms the spine of the C - comprised of lots of brick and cinder block). Only 2 ethernet connections throughout the facility, so wired backhaul limited to 2 of the estimated 6-9 access points needed. Had been considering the Linksys Velop Tri-Band, but that's $1,000 at Costco for 8 nodes. So, that leads me to the Deco P7 (actually considered the TP-Link EAP245 V3 and OC200 Controller, but these are only dual-band with no dedicated 3rd radio for backhaul - again, only 2 ethernet connections for wired backhaul). The Deco P7 is interesting because not only can we connect 2 of the nodes via wire, but the remainder can connect via powerline at up to AV600 - thus avoiding the need for tri-band wireless. However, reviews on the Net regarding Powerline are all over the place and many are far less than flattering. I can find almost no real-world info on the Deco P7, so I'm asking the Community if you have experience with this product - what do you think? Thanks for your help.
PS - Forgot to include that we have 100/100Mb service coming in to the building right now.
