Model: Archer A9
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

Hello,

Trying to use Archer A9 along with BGW210-700 to spread the load.

Can anyone give me details on settings of both pieces of equipment?

I want to use the wifi and regular ports from both.

Thanks in advance.

@Bushop

Its not really recommend to use both in normal operation.  This is becasue of NAT and wireless interference issues.  As your BGW210-700 is a Fios gateway you would be best served to set that device up as your modem and router, then disable the wireless on it.  Connect the Archer A9 as in AP mode and have it operate the wireless services for you.  In this setup you will still be able to use the ethernet ports on both devices,  With one on the gateway being used to connect your A9 to it.

Does this apply for Archer A7 model as well. I was trying to run A7 as an additional access point, keeping the radios on BGW210-700 running. Like BGW210-700 works as a router + controller + access point, and Archer A7 running only access point (DHCP disabled in A7). Can you provide details if this will work and settings to it? Thanks in advance
