Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20190810 rel.50990(5553)

I connect my Windows 10 laptop using 5GHz wifi to the A7 router. I have it set to use a reserved connection so I always get the same ip address.

Issue is I'm loosing the wifi connection after several hours - specifically it cannot find the gateway. So there is a wifi connection but not an internet connection.

From ipconfig I can see the dhcp details, and note the lease expires is set very wrongly. Note the year!

  Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Monday, November 25, 2019 8:40:02 AM
   Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Thursday, January 1, 2156 3:13:16 PM

On the router it lists as lease time permanent.

I'm guessing this is the cause - my dhcp assignment is expiring on the router but not on the laptop?

If I change to not having a reserved connection, then the expires is only 24 hours after the obtained.

Is this a bug?

@ng2

Remove any reserved IP you have on the router, assign a static IP to the computer outside of the routers DHCP pool.
