I would like to buy the Archer C4000 but need to run a VPN (currently have an ExpressVPN account). Does the Archer C4000 accept a server address or does it only allow IP addresses?
The Archer C4000 will allow VPN traffic to passthrough automatically based on IPsec, PPTP and L2TP. It can also be a VPN Server using OpenVPN or PPTP vpn. If you are attempting to use the VPN in place of a WAN then we would need more information in order to determine if that is possible.
