AX10 and AX1500
AX10 and AX1500
What is the difference between a AX10 and a AX1500? They have the exact same specs. Also, can the AX10 firmware be flashed to the AX1500? Or vise versa.

Well I currently got myself an AX1500 from USA, currently in EU and no channel 13 in firmware. Tried to flash to EU firmware with no success. Tried to use TFTP to force flash EU firmware but procedure seems different on these AX models. So currently stuck with US firmware without channel 12 or 13. Region Change unavailable in Firmware! Waiting for support to provide a solution! This is unacceptable to be left without ch12 and ch13.
Also regarding the TP-Link firmware there is a bug with the Wi-Fi MU-MIMO setting. The mu-mimo setting for 5GHz band dissapears after enabling Smart-Connect Feature. needs a fix/

I was able to launch a recovery mode but not through TFTP, the recovery mode simply replaced the normal firmware pages with a recovery page at 192.168.0.1 providing a single field for firmware upload. And even there when I tried to upload the EU firmware it denied the file saying the file was invalid. Someone needs to provide the correct IP settings for TFTP Recovery so we can force flash EU firmware.

@Flickspeed I am just trying to find out if the 2 firmwares are compatible. AX10 and AX1500.

As I said AX10 Firmwares are not flashable via the standard TP-Link browser based flashing method or even the router recovery mode browser flashing method. The router returns "invalid file" sort of message.
If you know any other method such as TFTP method to get the AX10 file into the AX1500 router tell me and I will test it for you.

@MrAndyGets When you say errored out you mean it denied the flash or did you manage to flash it and then errored?

@MrAndyGets Hi, does anyone have any news on this subject? I'm stuck in this same issue, my AX1500 router bought in Europe is stuck in rescue mode, even restarting it several times it always in this mode and I can't install/update a new firmware from the tplink website, error msg: "upgrade failed, the file is invalid"
