Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 build 20190115 rel. 57239

Hey Folks,

I bought my new Archer 60 router just yesterday.

I connected my personal laptop to router via ethernet cable and finished setting up with 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs.

I was even able to browse Internet while the ethernet was connected to router.

Later I removed the ethernet Jack, I noticed that my laptop WiFi  is unable to find the SSIDs itself.

My mobile and 4 other mobiles and even my work laptop is able to connect through WiFi and they all show the WiFi networks I configured. My personal laptop where I configured WiFi using ethernet cable is unable to detect the SSIDs.

Tried adding Network manually still no luck.

What did I miss configuring in my personal laptop that it doesn't show these networks itself.

Sometimes you need to delete the network on a device and re-add it for it to work. Also power cycle the router and laptop. Did you use the same SSID as your previous router as that may have the laptop confused? Did you try both 2.4 and 5GHz. Does the laptop work on other WIFI networks as something may have gone wrong with it?

@ArcherC8

Hi,

Thank you for replying.

Yes I used same SSID as previous router had.

Tried both 2.4 n 5 Ghz networks.

Laptop works with other networks.

Delete the network means? Making existing network forget n re add it..? I have done that too.

If you have a guest network, try using that. Also try using a different specific channel and bandwidth on the regular networks.

Hi,

The only thing that helped was repairing the network driver.

Device Manager -> Network Adapters-> Selected the Wireless driver->right click n uninstall device.

Restart and install again.

Make sure you have the device drivers downloaded already before doing all this!
