Tp-link AC1750 router not showing 5ghz for months; Verizon tech says 5ghz is being sent to router. Help

Anyone else experiencing this issue?
 

Anyone know how to fix this? Or I will go ahead and buy another router from other company.

What is your setup? Do you have a modem or a gateway from Verizon? If it is a gateway (modem and router combined) it can have a WIFI network as a modem does not have WIFI. Since you said Verizon says it is providing 5GHz it makes me think you have a gateway. Then how are you setting up and using the AC1750? A router gets a signal from the modem and then routes the traffic to the wired and WIFI connected devices.
