Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200427 rel.80857

I switched from a Linksys router to the AX6000.

Everything for the most part is working great.

However, I've noticed that some host names on my internal network don't resolve.

Some host names resolve on the computer but not on phones on the wireless side of the network.

I never had any issues with host names on the linksys.

Are there some settings I'm missing and need to change to get this to work?

@RussellThomas

The router will not be able to handle the hostname inquiry. However, hostnames should be able to resolve between two computers due to the LLMNR protocol, but not mobile devices.

@Tony

Hey Tony, thanks for the response.

I spent the day working with it and it's just unusable for my use with my internal network. I went back to my old router and everything went back to working.

I'm returning the TP Link router and have a new Linksys on the way.
