Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.4 Build 20200221 Rel. 65392

I recently installed a Deco M5 3 pack.  It works fine, but I've noticed some issues.

I have a router that my internet provider installed which has 4 ports.  1 of those ports is hardwired to my main computer, and 1 of those ports is hardwired to a switch.  The M5's are all hardwired to the switch (my whole home is wired).

When the M5's are disconnected, my router provides my main computer with an IP address and gateway in the 192.168.1.x range. My download speed is around 700 Mbps.

When the M5's are connected, for some reason they take over the DHCP service for everything, even the hard wired devices.  I end up with an IP in the 192.168.68.x range and my download speeds drop to 90 Mbps.

Is there a way to force the M5's to use my router as DHCP for everything, or some other method to fix this issue?

Ok, this has been solved.  I had to change the mode to access point in the app.

@Unkynd Be prepared for DHCP related problems if the main router reboots or loses power, the silly TP-Link devices crank up their own DHCP  server.

So even though they are indeed in AP mode, if the Decos lose connection to the primary router, they set themselves up as DHCP server(s) and hand out new IP addresses in their own subnet. Breaking the network entrely, requreing a reboot of everything in the following order. Modem/router, Decos (all of them) then possibly devices stuck with IPs from the rogue DHCP servers.
