300Mbps Wireless 4G LTE Router Showing different Public IP Address
Hi people!
I am using a TL-MR6400 4G Router model and I cannot get DuckDNS to work. I recently saw that there is a big problem with the router in how it shows the Public IP Address and I believe that this is the main problem why I cannot use Duck DNS
As you can see from the first image, when I go to Basic -> Internet or Advanced -> Internet, the IP Address that is shown starts with 10.154.XXX.XXX. From what I discovered, this is an internal / private IP address like 192.168.XXX.XXX and not an external / public IP address. I also looked at this tutorial just to be certain that I looking where I should. How to set up Port Forwarding on a TP-Link router.
As you can see from the second image, IP Lookup sites see my Public address as being one that starts with 213.233.XXX.XXX.
So in the router settings, shouldn't I see my my public IP address instead of something totally different?
BTW, the router internal address is 192.168.1.1, and the public address is 213.233.XXX.XX as you can see below, so I don't know where that 10.154.XXX.XXX is from.
Any suggestions is truly appreciated!
