Slow Speeds on Archer AX6000
I have a new Gigabit (1000 mbps) connection. Wiring the Gigabit directly into my MacBook Pro gives speed test results of close to 1000 mbps. However, over WiFi (~10 feet away from router) my speeds are slower, around 600 mbps. Over my iPhone, I get around 400 mbps. This is after implementing the changes suggested in the article below. Using the "test Internet speed" function of the router itself (using the Tether app), it reports upload speed of 835.1 and download speed 910.5 mbps.
Should I be satisfied with these speeds over WiFi? I realize advertised speeds are almost never 100% achievable and you need a wired connection to come close. Can I make any other changes to the settings to increase speed over WiFi in addition to ones suggested in the post below?
