Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.15.3 Build 180305 Rel.51282n

Hi guys,

I am currently having issues with the 2.5GHz range of my 3 year old Archer C7 v2 router. So was thinking of upgrading it.

I have selected the TP-Link AC2600 Archer A10 as the new router.

But while going through the list of the routers in TP-link site , saw the Archer C2300 AC2300 router.

What i don't understand is even though the A10 is AC2600, the C2300 with AC2300 is more expensive than than the A10.

So was wondering whether i need to go for the A10 or the C2300.

if anyone has any idea whats the difference, please chip in.

OR has any other recommendations, please add on.

Note : Not looking for Wifi 6 routers now.

@jithudigitised

Here is a side by side comparison: https://www.tp-link.com/compare/?typeId=9&productIds=30826%2C22940

The differences seem to be that the C2300 has a USB 3.0 USB port, WPA3 support, and HomeCare which the A10 doesn't have neither of.

@Tony

Thanks for the reply. So apart from that both seems same, though the A10 says better range on 2.4GHz.

So will go with the A10 then.

I hope it doesn't have that frequent disconnection of 2.4Ghz band like in Archer C7 that i am using.
