Hi,

I replaced my tp-link router with a router that supports fiber.

When I'm connected to the wifi/wired I get 300mbps.

But with the powerline adapter, that I use in another room, I get 40mbps.

With the previous router, I used to get 80mbps.

I'm wondering if there's a specific configuration which I should change on the router?

@Jobi

Was anything else installed?  Is the new router's power draw greater? And, is the new router connected directly to the wall outlet or to a surge protector?

@Carl

Nothing new was added and it's connected to the wall, same is before.

I don't think that the new router consumes more power.

@Jobi

That would likely be the only reason if nothing else was changed.  The new router is likely causing more "noise" on the line.  If you can connect it to a surge protector and see if you see an improvement.
