Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: don't know

After resetting the A7, it said there was an firmware upgrade. I clicked on the upgrade but it failed to install.

Tried again, nothing. Now I can't even log into the A7 at all. Tried resetting, still nothing. Any ideas?

Power cycle modem, router, and PC to see if that helps. If not, try a factory reset. You will need to reenter all your settings. If that does not work, let us know what happens on the power up of the router and what lights you see.

@Jazzmo All I have is the A7 router, no modem. Win10/Asus laptop. I've tried all those suggestions.

Need a clear understanding of the issue. By "can't log in" mean you can not get into the Router's user interface or that you can not get signed on to the router with the laptop? If it is the later, is it both for wired and wireless?

@ArcherC8 I typed in the web address to log into the A7. It could not be found. Not sure what happened but it fixed

itself yesterday. Thanks for your help.

@Jazzmo

If you have no modem, how were you notified there was an update?

Where did you get the update from and what is the filename? Latest is Archer A7(US)_V5_201029.ZIP. Did you UNZIP it before trying to install it?

I'll assume you are trying to connect via wireless? Is the Laptop actually connected to the router via an SSID?
