I just purchased a 3 unit deco m9 plus system and an arris sb8200 modem to get rid of my xfinity x7 setup. I pay for the gig speed service. 

I have all 3 units setup, one in upstairs theater room with the cable modem, one in my upstairs office, one in my downstairs kitchen. When do the speed test on the app, it shows I am getting 952 Mbps at the router, which is in line with what  I pay for. When I do a speedcheck on my cellphone, 2 feet from the main router, it drops to 592 Mbps. When I check at my office, which is about 20-25 feet away I am barely cracking 100Mbps, where i used to get 250 plus and hoped this new mesh system would help with that. I have not checked the kitchen yet.

Is wifi capped at 600Mbps on this system? I cant believe the wifi drops off so fast. 10 feet from main router i am already down to 250 Mbps.

Please help, I had hoped this purchase would make a vast improvement and let me dump comcast hardware but so far i am confused on what to do.
