Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6

Hey , I have 5 Phones in which 2 of them only supports 2.4ghz wifi network and other 3 support dual band networks.

the problem is the phones which supports dual band is not able to connect to router like login into it , Screenshot attached.

I tried 192.168.0.1 and tplinkwifi.net but the pages keep loading forever.

as for the phones which supports 2.4ghz network is working fine and able to login into archer c6.

i have tried resetting , rebooting , switching tp link ids but to no avail able to login from dual band phones.

From your Router Manual, https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200727/1910012811_Archer%20A6&Archer%20C6_UG.pdf, look at page 87, sectuin 14.9 on. In 14.10 you might need to enable Remote Management to use TPLINKWIFI.NET even. The is a setting for ALL LAN devices as well, but that should probably be on if you can connect with 2 devices already.

I assume you can use the WIFI with the phones on both bands, just not sign on to the router. When this happens on a PC, most times clearing the browser history or using a different browser solves the issue.

Are you connected to Router's WIFI?

Have you tried using Tether (app for iOS)?

I'll assume those that can't connect are on the 5Ghz SSID? Do they work if you connect to the 2.4Ghz SSID?

Could you have connected to someone elses SSID? One that had no Security or P/W required?

Since you think the router is on 192,168.0.1, is the IP Address of those phones that can't connect on the same LAN?

If you DID connect to the Guest Network, is it able to 'see' the LAN (that is a setting)?

the ip address is mentioned in router to access router settings btw the 2 phones which i have of 2.4ghz both are able to connect via app , website.

Another thing to check is that your phone is not using a VPN connection. If you have any parental controls set up, disable that.

@Tony

VPN is off , any dns is off / disabled , parentals controls never touched them so disabled.

problem only persist in dual band phones , while only 2.4ghz supported phones are working fine and able to do all things.
