Hi all,

I'm still having some issues with my new AX50. I can now get it to use a DFS channel (taken advice to wait for 5-10 mins whilst it radar scans), however it only holds the selected channel for a period of time, before reverting to channel 36 eventually.

Unfortunately 36 is congested in my area, so this is far from optimal! I've seen threads from this from last year, so looks like its an unresolved issue?

cheers

It will automatically do that when a radar signal is detected. Given your environment, I would select another channel that is a non-DFS channel to prevent it from automatically reverting to channel 36.

Hi Tony, I think the issue is deeper rooted than that. Even when i try and set the router to a non-DFS channel (e.g. 48), it still stays on that for a while, but reverts back to its favourite channel 36 later.

@dudload

What is the firmware version and build you are currently running?

Also, how often do you see the issue happening from when you set it to a specific channel then it reverting to 36?
