Model: Deco
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

My suggestion is that TP-Link enhance its QoS options in its Deco product line to add a feature that would permit limiting Internet upload kb's, download kb's and/or latency ms; per device.

@Tony thank you for your action.

real world scenario. I live in a cabin in the woods and can only get DSL service with 10mb download and 1mb upload.  I have a pretty robust internal network using the M9+ model routers.  Media is streamed from an on-prem NAS server so I don't wish to throttle the on-prem gigabit LAN, just throttle the Internet download and upload through the main Deco to the DSL router.  I download media to my NAS server, but even when I prioritize my PC low and set custom QoS for download to low, I get complaints from my children.  If I were to set my maximum download for my pc (or any other local device) to a percentage of the QoS download kb then I feel the complaints would cease.  I use a product called the 4K Video Downloader to download YouTube videos to my NAS server for local streaming and am able to set max download within that application and no one complains, but when I download using my browser there are no throttling options.

Acceptance Criteria: as a customer I would like to be able to set a internet bandwidth throttle in QoS at the router level for any off-prem data transfer per device.

thanks.
