Model: Archer C25
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20160725 Rel. 77078(EU)

I have Archer Archer C9
The issue is that WAN port stops working after a while and it starts giving 169.x.x.x address.
WAN is connected to 1Gbit network
What could be the possible reason?

thanks

@Ozinomi

Even though your hardware version/region is using the only firmware it has, I would still manually upload it to the router.

FAQ on how to update is here: https://www.tp-link.com/sa/support/faq/1065/

Other things to try:

-Swap the Ethernet cable being used with another one

-Look at the modem lights to see if those have changed

-Leave a computer directly connected to the modem to see if it stops getting an internet connection.
