I have been seeing a second mystery router on tether this week. Not mine and not sure why.

Has anyone experienced the same?

My first thought was that a neighbor had bought a new router they have yet to setup. It's now been a few days so it's kind of odd.

@Mum_manager

What the Tether app will do is send a scan packet and if it identifies a compatible TP-Link device, it shows on the list. Your router is bound to your ID so it is a cloud device. Do you happen to have any other TP-Link device on the wireless network you are connected to? Possibly something connected to your TP-Link router?
