Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a certain device which will only function properly when connected to the 2.4GHz band. Unfortunately it keeps connecting to the 5GHz band. When I disable 5GHz within the Deco app, my device connects to the 2.4GHz band and performs as designed.

How can I assign a device (certain IP address) to only connect to the 2.4GHz band with the X60?

Thanks.

@HH22

On the Deco end, you can enable the guest network, and enable the 5GHz, and disable the 5GHz on the main network.

As far as the device being used if that can be configured to stick to the 2.4GHz that may be another solution.
