Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20201022 Rel.66804

My question is regarding intrAnet speed and not inteRnet speed.

As background info, I have four M5 decos, all are cat6 cabled together except one which is backaul is by wifi.

Several options exist to place the wifi deco -each option involves a different mix of distance and impediments.

Is there a test that produces a metric that I can then use to intelligently place the wifi M5 unit as to achieve the best thruput?

Using an inteRnet speed test such as "fast.com" does not help this question
as my contracted internet rate is much less than the intrAnet  number I am trying to measure.

@OracleDBA

What you can probably do is test a file copy from one machine to another, using the app to see what Deco node is connected to what so you know where the data is hopping to.
