Since every ISP and network setup is different, what works for me, may not work for you. Also your router may have different options.

In my case it took many tries of different combinations to get it to work.

I have Xfinity as my ISP. I used a WAN connection type of DHCPv6, Get IPv6 prefix on, Get IPv6 DNS server Automatically on, LAN IPv6 address assign type as SLAAC, and IPv6 prefix as ::

I also power cycled my router between some of the changes.

I use https://test-ipv6.com/ to check my connection. Looking for 10/10 score.

@ArcherC8 I tired every different connection type and restarted my router each time. I still had the smae result. No IPv6 address detected. Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have IPv6 Internet access. I recieved a 0/10 score

Try bypassing the router and connect the PC direct to the modem via an Ethernet cable. Run the test and see if the ISP has IPv6.

If so, then most likely is either the router or its settings.

I have Spectrum and they do support IPv6, but by using a double stack IPv4 DNS.

So I used the Google Public IPv6 DNS's.
