Firmware Version:

Hi, just installed an AX3000 WiFi router. All of the devices in our home (laptops and phones) can see the network. But the printer, an HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e, can't see it. When I try to set up WiFi, it shows a list of several WiFi networks in our apartment building, but neither network (2.4GHz or 5GHz) is on that list. The WiFi router's name and password have to be entered manually. WPS doesn't work either. Any idea what's wrong here?

Thanks!

@billrnyc

It may be due to the AX3000 running AX for the 2.4G and 5G. Similar to Intel wireless cards with old drivers that can't see AX networks.

Log into your TP-Link router and go into the Advanced wireless settings and set the 2.4G mode from b/g/n/ax to b/g/n and save it so there is no AX broadcast. The printer should now be able to see the 2.4G network.

@Tony Thanks very much. I will try this, though I'm skeptical because the printer is a new model, only 1-2 years old, so it should see this.

@Tony Your suggestion to adjust the setting in the AX3000 router didn't work for the HP 8022e printer. Printer still doesn't see the router.
