Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello TP Link Developers, please bring back Bandwidth Control in your new routers! QoS is a poor substitute for Bandwidth Control.

I used to own an old Archer C7 AC1750 and was delighted by the features but unfortunately it broke after many years of use so I replaced it with an AX55 AX3000. I was greatly disappointed when I found out it had no Bandwidth control feature.

More than 5 persons are connected to my home network at a time and with that comes many devices. Having precise control over the bandwidth of each device is important to me and I'm sure a lot of people want this feature back to. Please do an update to bring it back.

@ElPanini

Unfortunately this is not likely.  At least on the routers that support HomeCare or HomeSheild.  This is because the QOS features are handled by the 3rd parties servers.  In the case of the Archer AX55 all traffic passes through the Avira servers to be inspected.  With HomeSheild you can give specific devices priority though.  Tap on the device name and tap on the priority you want to give it. This would be the closest to bandwidth control these routers will be capable of.  We will of course send up the request but I don't wnat to get your hopes up.  I don't see it being added back on the routers that support QOS.
