Model: Deco X68
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I have a two unit X68 in my home to replace my 3 unit Orbi mesh router.  It is connected to a Motorola cable modem that has no ethernet ports.  Is there a way to use my Orbi units as extensions of the X86, so that I can place them close to device in the house--e.g., TV sets and computers.

No at this time Deco is only compatible with other Deco Mesh products.  You can have up to 10 Deco units, irregardless of model in one network.  You just want to make sure the most feature rich Deco is set as the primary unit.

Nope you can not.  Buy some Deco M3W nodes and add them to your Mesh.

New on Amazon $49.99

Refurbished (I use them all the time and they work 100%).
