Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I have an AC1750 that I purchased because I have heard rave reviews about TP-Link products and I needed to know that I could rely on my router now that I am working from home. I should have stuck with my cheapo Belkin because this thing drops Wi-Fi constantly. I can't get anything done! Every time it drops internet I have to restart the router and my laptop. So incredibly annoying. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix other than going to a different brand?

Can I know who is your ISP? Please check and ensure the modem connection is still stable when the Wi-Fi is dropping on the router.

Please also check the LED status on the A7 when the Wi-Fi drops, will it change to orange/red or does it stay green? If the LED stays green, please try to modify the wireless settings on the router as the following guide, then monitor again:

@Kevin_Z  I have Spectrum. I pay for super high speed because I need the reliability. When the internet flakes purchased I check both the modem and the router, and the lights on both are green and steady. The only way to get internet back is to unplug the router then plug it back in and let it cycle through. I do it at least three times a day. I didn't have to do this with my belkin cheapo router. Really regretting tossing it

Did you use the SAME SSID and P/W's as before? If so, on the devices, FORGET the connection, and then connect again. Some old data could be the problem. Not sure if this will help, but worth a try.
