Router not powering up at all, button doesn't turn on any lights. Tried a new outlet that I know works, nothing. Router was on a surge protector. Does the reset button do anything to help here?

If the router cannot be powered on anymore, I guess the reset button will not help either, you may contact your reseller or the local tech support to be advised further if this needs to be replaced:
