Archer AX20 can not be accessed
I can no longer access the router.
AX20 is used as a wireless access point. This means the AX20's DHCP server or DNS server is not used.
AX20 is configured using DHCP (as a client) and gets a fixed IP address from the DHCP server running on another router (a Mikrotik).
AX20 can access the internet.
I can go to the login page of the AX20 router by using https://192.168.88.250 (the actual AX20 router's ip address), I can enter the local password but then I get redirected to http://tplinkwifi.net/ where it tells me to use the ip adress to connect the router, as I already did.
I am connecting to the router from a computer connected via ethernet in the same LAN as the router.
Essentially, I can no longer connect to the router. It used to work, but maybe there was a firmware update or something...
Additionally, I have tried to set the DNS on my PC to the ip of the router ( so that the router has the chance to intercept and remap tplinkwifi.net to its network address). Now, instead of getting redirected to the page telling me to connect to the local ip, it redirects me back to the login screen.
As a note, the AX20 router is working fine as an AP, but I can't access it anymore.
What is the solution for this issue ? Why the redirect and how to avoid it ?
