The development team has been adding optimizations to these features over the past year through firmware updates, make sure you have updated to the most recent version available on your products support download page. 

We don't normally have insight into future firmware releases or what products will receive updates. They have been adding features such as Guest Network and Client Bandwidth Control to Models as they develop the firmware. We are currently seeing a surge in firmware development as the number of models that have been given new firmware has only grown.

Over the next year, there are a lot of updates planned to the features on our routers, especially the features that fall under the HomeShield Umbrella. We will not know if all routers will receive these features or if it will be a limited release until closer to the launch of HomeShield 3.0

After a Router is Marked as End-of-Life as the AX20 is, the firmware updates are usually limited to security patches and updates rather than feature updates. Saying that, the AX20 had an update released only a few days ago that brings new optimizations and features: Archer AX20 Downloads
