Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.1

I am about to switch my existing owned cable modem that I use for Xfinity that I have a mesh network set up behind using X60s; including one as my router with the rest set up via a switch behind that. Is there anything I need to do when I get the new xFi modem / router from Xfinity or do I simply swap out my existing modem and the main X60 will detect the difference and adjust automatically?

Also, I recently added an M5 to my mesh and I can't seem to get it to connect wired; it keeps saying it's connect to the main router wirelessly even though I've plugged ethernet directly from the switch into the back of the unit. Is there a way to change this? The firmware version on that unit is 1.5.7.

Thanks!
