Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 20220429 rel 1970

I got this new Deco AXE5300 from costco and installing it to replace my Netgear Nighthawk to go to a mesh system for better coverage.  This system says it has 3 ports that does 1gb. I have tried 3 different systems and the best I can get out of the ethernet ports are 100mb. How can you force them to gb or is there some switch.

I don't remember the last time I had a router that has 100mb speeds.  I can plug my netgear back in and it goes right to to 1gb as I have a 1.2gb connection. Please let me know if it is a setting or something to do with the firmware?  If not I need to return it as the WiFI is much faster than the ethernet.

Thanks,

Todd

Well I was wrong, I was using the ethernet cable that came with DECO and it was the cause for slow speed. I replace the TP-link cable and boom it came back up. It looks like there is a knik problem with the new Deco ethernet cable. LOL was a pain

I have tested this with my netgear and it can achieve 1gb speeds and as soon as I plug it into the Deco, it goes to 100mb speeds. Nothing changes and using the same eithernet cables. I even plugged it in to a 3rd older netgear router and it also achieved 1gb speeds. The Wifi reached 716mb which is much faster than the eithernet LOL.
