Ac1750 throwing slow speed wired and wireless
I have a Netgear cm1000 wired to router tplink ac1750. When testing from Netgear modem I get 960mbps. But when testing from tplink ac 1750. Internet speed drops to 370mbps. I tried resetting and it didn't change anything.
My isp is wave broadband.
Thanks in advance for your help

Are you getting that low speed via cable to the router or wireless?
I assume you tested to the Modem via Ethernet cable? If so, did you power down the modem and router before connecting them? Need ti do that and bring up modem first and then the router.
Also check QoS setting, should be off probably.

I would suggest confirming the QoS settings carefully, you may follow this guide below to disable it or manually set the correct upload and download bandwidth:

@Kevin_Z that improved the speed by about 60 mbps. But i am still getting 420mbps instead of 1GB. Any other suggestions?
Thank you

If that is the case, please try to reset the AC1750 to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch, just set up the internet on its WAN, but don't change any other settings, then connect the computer to its LAN port to test the speed.
If the speed is normal, please try to modify the settings on the AC1750 one by one as required, and test the speed to determine which setting may affect the speed.

@Artiste Same issues here. Turned off QoS and all is now full speed. Hope this helps.
