Model: RE220
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I currently have my RE220 configured as an access point.

It advertises both a 2,4 and a 5.0 network name and connects to my current router perfectly.

(My current router also advertises both a 2.4 and a 5.0 network name.)

Here's the deal.

Soon I will be getting a new router that uses band steering.

So, the router only advertises one network name.

How would I go about configuring the RE220 to connect to my new router ?

Would I ONLY configure the 5.0 network name and leave the RE220's 2,4 network un-configured ?

Or would I configure both the 2.4 and 5.0 networks and point them both tp the same (and only) network name being advertised by my new router ?

Thanks for any advice
