Lights flashing both green and yellow on TL-SG116 16 port Ethernet Switch

The lights on my switch for in use ports continually flash...........all the time..............they never stop flashing. And some flash green and some flash yellow. This can't be normal behaviour. Other than the flashing lights it seems to be working properly.
This switch feeds all my tv and streaming. Since this is in my LR and visible while watching tv, the constant flashing is annoying. I expect green flashing while data is being received, but for all the in use ports to be flashing constantly can't be normal. And why some green and some yellow?
Any suggestions.

If we temporarily unplug the switch from the main router, then only connect the TV to it, will the port light still keep flashing green?
By the way, May I know how long have you had the switch?
