My OOMA is offline. It was suggested to add astatic IP address to resolve the problem,

EX: Set the Ooma box for 192.168.1.20 for a static IP.

I can't tell which devise the OOMA woould be!

I can follow instructions but I'm a senior without an IT degtree. Please help if you can.

 

I logged in, updated the firmware and looked at the data provided. I just need some help.

  @judygoj 

go to advance/network/dhcp server then page down to address reserversion. You need the MAC address of omma device most likley printed on the bottom and select an ip such as 192.168.1.20. Add it and save. Then power off both the router and ooma. Power on the router, wait a bit, then ooma. It should start using the new ip. I never needed to reserve the ip for my ooma.
