If you see a 169.254.x.x address, it means that the DHCP server is not reachable.

Why is the DHCP server not reachable? Because the most recent firmware update broke something.

What did it break? Well, that seems to be what everyone is trying to figure out now.

In the meantime, the best we can do is rollback the firmware update, or move forward to the beta firmware update.

  @minion-me new firmware update available just now. Version 1.2.6, dated 11/30/2023. Has anyone tried it already? It mentioned "Fixed a bug of wireless devices disconnecting in specific environments."

  @DanPet

I couldn't sleep this morning and was about to downgrade my FW and saw that it had posted. I upgraded about 4:30am PST this morning and so far so good. We'll see as the day goes by. I'm not a power user or anything so take that for what it is.

  @minion-me

Just over 48 hours since install of 1.2.6 ...no problems encountered.  Saw a very simialr issue had occurred back in Apr-May with 1.2.2 just before I bought the AX55.  Think I'll leave the auto-update feature off...   Thanks for your replies confirming these issues.

I too have passed the 48 hour mark and all devices have remained connected.

So far, things are looking good with the new firmware version!  Thanks... Shelly
