Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I'm currently using the AX1800 that is One Mesh capable and have the RE505x One Mesh added and works really well but I cannot seem to find a definitive answer on what determines your device to switch to the strongest signal.  I have a Samsung S23 and can be right by the RE505 and it will stay connected to my main router.  I'll check the connected speed of the extender and it's 905mb with max of 1gb.  My WiFi analyzer app shows I'm connected at 52dBm to router but the extender is right in front of me showing 38dBm.  I've researched TPlink, Samsung forums, etc and have changed my phone scan frequency to 'very frequent' but it still won't switch on it's own.  It's almost acting like an extender I need to log into rather than a seamless switch the one mesh claims it is.

Any suggestions?
