Router to switch auto negotiation failure
Model number incorrect (had to choose one) My model number was not in the drop down list and is as follows:
TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Wi-Fi Gigabit Router (Archer C5)
Connection=Comcast 120Mbps/6Mbps
From research, I have possibly narrowed it to Auto negotiation (Full vs Half Duplex)?
Configuration 1
Modem TP Link TC-7610
Hardware Version 1.1
Software Version v1.1.0 Build 20160920 Rel371550
TP Link Archer C5 AC1200 Router
Hardware Version: Archer C5 v1 00000000
Firmware Version: 3.13.34 Build 140424 Rel.59644n
Netgear fs524 Unmanaged Switch
*Results 20-25Mbps at switch*(is switch faulty?)

Configuration 2
Modem TP Link TC-7610
Hardware Version 1.1
Software Version v1.1.0 Build 20160920 Rel371550
Cisco-Linksys BEFSR41 EtherFast Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port 10/100 Switch
Netgear fs524 Unmanaged Switch
*Results 90-95Mbps at switch* that's more like it (switch not faulty)

Have done full power cycles/reset the Router to fact.Defaults... reboot... same results.
All cables deliver 110-120Mbps to devices/PCs when hooked directly to the TP Link Archer C5 Router mentioned above. Cables ruled out.
Do not have a setting (in the current firmware at least) for locking in the full-duplex 100Mbps on this Router, perhaps because its Gbit?
I know there are settings in other TP Link firmwares for this... essentially turning off "auto negotiation"
I am very catious when it comes to updating/flashing the firmware... if it aint broke don't fix it.
Is there a new firmware to address this? Or am i missing something?
Thank you for any time you give, appreciate it.
Oh, and all other equipment was disconected during the setup, so no other influences.
