Hello -

I have set up DEVICE Whitelisting under Security | Access Control.  This works most of the time.  It works always for wireless devices, but is intermittent for wired devices.

Any wired device with any MAC address can connect to the network through ethernet port.  Only way to block is blacklist as soon as it appears.  Then the device MAC address is changed, and it reconnects to the network.  This also prevents parental controls when the MAC address of a connected device has changed.

Anyone else see this with Whitelisting not working on wired devices for this TP-Link router?

Thanks

I believe that depends on the FW release - check this thread. Are these issues with a particular wired device or different wired devices ?
