I have a single device that keeps renewing its DHCP address instead of picking up the reservation IP address..  Is there a way to expire the lease?  I want the device to use the IP address configured in its reservation.

Did you reboot the router after adding the reservation?

Yes, I've rebooted the router several times (after each attempt).

What happens to the lease if I block the device and the lease expires?  I'll try that in the morning.

Is the device changing the MAC? IPads and iphones and others do this and you need to change the wifi settings.

Mac addresses are static.  The reserved mac addresses match the ones in the connected client list.

@ArcherC8

Issue resolved but still no way to expire a single lease.

It seems that the Galaxy S devices had a static IP at one time then the setting was changed to DHCP..  The DHCP renewal used the old static IP.  I removed the old static IP and the DHCP renewed correctly.  Go figure!

Thanks for your input.
