Hello,

Are there instances, where  a tp-link AX3000 / Archer AX 55 model router turns itself off and needs to be manually re-started (e.g., after a power outage)?

I am remote monitoring a house with various home automation products working through a tp-link AX3000 attached through a cable modem and powered by a UPS. Recently the connection to all home automation products was lost. I sent a person to check and they found the router was off. The attached cable modem was on and no person (or animal) had been in the house.

If the router needs to be manually re-started after a power outage or for any other reason, it cannot be used in connection with any kind of monitoring devices that rely on a self-restoring internet connection and I would need to find a different router. Therefore, I need an honest answer here.

Strange....

What happens if you unplug the router and plug it back in?

Is the battery in the UPS at end of life as I have seen that cause strange things.

Are you using the power supply that came with the router?

Anything attached to the USB ports of the router?
