BE900 and S24 connecting on wifi 6 instead of wifi 7 with proper security protocol
Testing BE900 and my S24 ultra mobile, wifi icon shows wifi6, and not wifi7 even with WPA3.Personal and WPA3+WPA2-PSK.
The TP-Link BE900 and/or Samsung S24 Ultra show a WiFi 7 icon when the 5 GHz SSID is in the Available network list.
But once you connect to the 5 GHz SSID you will see a WiFi 6 icon appear in the top right corner of the Samsung S24 Ultra.
On my BE800 the same phone shows wifi7 correctly, does this is known issue for this model, is there a workaround to have wifi 7 instead?

It could very well be that BE is not enabled. Go into your Rotuer's UI and follow these steps to either confrim and enable
If it is already enabled please let us know.

@Carl I've logged into UI, and i can see that option is already selected for the 3 main SSIDs, 2.4, 5Ghz-1 and 5Ghz-2

Applogies, i was not able to get into the community yesterday to check notices and replies. For this I need to consult with engineering. My hope is that they will respond by my shift tomorrow. If not then I will not be able to provide a response till Monday, due to the 4th of July holiday and scheduled time off. So if you do not hear from me by the end of tomorrow you should Monday morning.

So here is what we have been told by Engineering:
WiFi 7 on 5GHz is available when the mode is selected and when encryption is set to WPA3 or WPA3/WPA2. However, for some reason it has been detected that Samsung's S24 Ultra only detects WiFi 7 when using WPA3 only. We unfortuently have no way to resolve this on our end. It would need to be resolved through Samsung.
That said if you enable the mode and WPA3 only and it still is showing WiFi6 then that is something we would need to look into.
