Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We are sying goodbye to our Xfinity ISP and the wireless router that we had previously had our Deco X55 mesh network connected to, and moving to the T-Mobile 5G home internet wireless internet thing. I've tried connecting the main deco node to the T-Mobile device but haven't figured out the way to set it up, or initiate the configuration process. Feeling stuck and frustrated as I know it's possible but in all the forum posts can't quite find a concrete answer or instructions. I tried resetting the node, 'adding a new network,' and anything else that made logical sense to me. I don't care of our previous network name and password persists or if we set up a new one I just need to improve network coverege for the house. I've seen mention of changing from access point to extender mode and/or disabling the wifi on the T-mobile device or 'bridge' mode?

Any help is appreciated!

  @DLivas

What went wrong when you resetted the Deco, and adding a new network?
