2.4 Network not working PX50

I purchased the PX50, 3 unit set, a year ago. I have it both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under the same network name. All good till recently when I noticed that some IoT devices disconnected from the network. I thought I might have lost power in one of the units but after checking, rebooting and even resetting the devices to a new network... I noticed that the 2.4 GHz network is not working.
I have read the post here and other faq, I made sure I disconnected the fast roaming and beamforming.
Still, if I leave one of the networks only with 2.4, either the primary network, guest or a dedicated for Iot, the result it's same. I can see the network but it's not working and I cannot even connect.
As soon as I put back 5 GHz... then the devices that can run in 5GHz connect, and run fine.
I have a Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 as modem-router, and the 2.4 is running fine there but it doesn't reach all the devices in the house, patio and garage. That's why I purchased the Deco.
Please, advise if I can try anything else before I claim for warranty.
