Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have lots of old Deco m9 Plus units in my home. If I install only one XE75 in my home, and use the m9 units as satellites, am I compromising performance? The other older m9's work fine, but are they are able to take advantage of the new speeds and features of the newer XE75 unit? Do the features flow downstream? Thank you.

@cddthomp My understanding of Mesh means that all nodes share the same channel and bandwidth, so that clients can hop from one node to the next seamlessly.  So yes in some sense adding a single higher model loses some of it's performance, but say you add a model with 6 GHz it can also provide for those clients separately...
