To achieve optimal speed, I recommend the following approach:

- Connect an Ethernet cable from the barn unit to each of the shop decos.

- Connect an Ethernet cable from the main house device to the other decos in the house.

The configuration you proposed will function, but it may not provide the maximum speed possible.

@Libertized It is aways beneficial to connect Decos via Ethernet cables, if you can install more cables, it is even better.

hi I have 3 Deco be63 all connected with Ethernet cables if I hook up my Deco xe75pros to that same network with all Ethernet cables and the be63 as the main unit will my desktop slow down to these 1gb speeds the Deco xe 75 pro only have 1 2.5GB so I can not use that one as it only gives me 1gb speeds or will it stay at the 2.5GB speeds with the 3 main decos are be63?

I may not have all the information, but I believe that any devices connected to the Deco BE63 should still be capable of receiving speeds up to the maximum of 2.5GB as specified for these units.

However, any devices or switches connected to the Deco XE75 Pro may experience a reduction in speed when connected to the 2 Gigabit ports
