Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20240823 rel.30686(5553)

Hi,

There's a tab titled "Authorize Third-Party Services" in the web management menu for my BE900, which I recently purchased.

It says:

"Authorize Third-Party Services

Once enabled, we will share your clients' information to a third-party services to identify your clients better. We won't save your private information."

What third parties are they referring to, and how does it help the router identify my clients better?

Also, where is the privacy policy for this service?

Thanks in advance.

@foible

Thanks for the screenshot! It looks like your Archer BE900 has received a firmware update that includes the option to enable Fing Client Recognition.

Hi @foible

Welcome to the community.

Can you please share screenshots of the section in the web management interface menu where you encountered this message and of the message itself?
